Our Partnerships
At 4Legz, we care about all living beings. We partner with organizations that share our goals of creating job opportunities for people who are deaf and/or disabled, and celebrating and caring for animals. We have more than a dozen partnerships with local and national organizations like schools, employment services, dog rescues, and veterinary offices. Meet some of the wonderful organizations we are so proud to work with:
Concern For Animals
Concern for Animals is an Olympia-based nonprofit organization that provides low-cost spay, neuter, and veterinary services. We have been working with Concern for Animals since 2011 to provide the animals they care for with healthy treats.
Deaf Dogs Rock
Deaf dogs have a special place in our founder Cynthia Murray’s heart – both Dozer and Chip are deaf, and so is she! Deaf Dogs Rock was founded in 2012 with the mission of promoting the care and well-being of deaf dogs everywhere. Through our partnership, we provide healthy snacks for deaf dogs everywhere.
Dogs for Better Lives
Dogs for Better Lives, formerly known as Dogs for the Deaf, is an organization that trains and pairs service and therapy dogs to individuals with disabilities and professionals whose clients benefit from a dog’s calming presence. 4Legz founder, Cynthia, got one of her first ever hearing service dogs, Odie, from this organization. Odie had severe food allergies which led Cynthia to create her own healthy treats and start the 4Legz business!
Morningside
Morningside is an organization that works to advance employment opportunities for job seekers with disabilities, which is also one of 4Legz’s core missions. We have partnered with Morningside since 2020 to offer one-on-one job training and paid employment experiences for adults and young professionals who are Deaf and/or disabled.
CSD Social Venture Fund
CSD Social Venture Fund (SVF) is a venture capital firm that invests in scalable Deaf-owned business that have a positive impact on their surrounding communities. 4Legz partnered with CSD SVF in 2021 with the goal of expanding our business and increasing the amount social good we are able to do. Through this partnership, we hope to create more jobs for Deaf and disabled individuals and inspire lasting postive changes for the Deaf community.
